Clients can now give feedback on websites and other files without logging in. There's two ways to invite clients and other stakeholders to give feedback.
- Directly share websites, designs or documents using a share link, or
- Invite them into the project as a Guest User so they can view all the websites, designs and documents in the project.
Check out this video to find out how to invite clients to give feedback.
Invite clients using a share link
- From Websites & Files, hover over the website or file you want to share with clients. Then click Share.
- Copy the link and share it via email, slack or another messaging service.
- Clients can simply click the link and be taken directly to the website to start giving feedback.
Note: If you don't have the javascript installed in your website, they'll be prompted to install the extension. - When leaving their first piece of feedback, clients are asked to include their name and email, so you know who is leaving feedback.
Any further feedback won't require them to enter those details again.
- In the background, BugHerd creates a guest account for your client.
- They'll receive a welcome email, introducing them to BugHerd and their own project board.
- Clicking the link in the email will take them to their project board.
Inviting clients as guest users to a project
- If you want, you can still invite guest to your project.
- Open your task board in BugHerd.
- Click Guests in the Left hand navigation, then click Invite.
- The Project Access pop up appears. Enter your client's email address, select Guest and click Invite.
- Your client is sent an email, inviting them to the project. Clicking Accept invite in the email takes them to their project board.
- They'll need to add their name in the welcome screen to continue to their project board.
