Installing the BugHerd embed code on Wordpress is simple. The first thing we need to do is copy your BugHerd (BH) embed code.
BH provides you with a unique embed code for each project.
To copy your BH embed code go to project settings > install bugherd
Now that we have our BH embed code we can set about installing it in Wordpress.
To do this we have two options:
Option 1
Install the plugin Header and Footer from the plugin directory
Go to the configuration panel of the plugin.
Under the "Page head and footer" tab, add the tracking code to the section which says "Before the </body> closing tag (footer)":
Save and you should be all good to go.
Option 2
We are going to add the BH embed code directly to the WP theme itself. This one is a little more technical so proceed with caution.
Select Appearance > Theme Editor
Find the Theme Footer and search for </body>
Install the your BugHerd JS code directly above the </body> tag as below:
Click Update file to save and BugHerd will now be installed on your website.
