Transferring ownership of your BugHerd account

People leave companies and agencies and bank account details need updating. The good news is that you can update ownership of your BugHerd account yourself.

Note: Transferring ownership is available on paid subscription accounts, not during the trial period. 

You'll need to be the existing owner or a billing manager to complete these steps.

To transfer ownership of your BugHerd account

  1. Log in to BugHerd. You'll need to be an owner or billing manager to continue.
  2. Select Team from the top navigation (Old UI), or Click the your Org name in the top left corner and select Team.
  3. The Team settings window appears.
  4. Choose the person you want as the new owner. In the drop-down box next to their name, select owner.
  5. Congrats on changing ownership of your BugHerd account. If you need to remove the previous owner from your file, click the x next to their name to delete their access.
