Control what project information and tasks your clients can see.

You can choose to provide the following for your clients and stakeholders:

  • Project Summary emails
  • Notifications when a task is moved to done
  • Let clients see feedback left by other clients (premium feature)
  • Let clients see git commit content from task comments
  • Let clients change the status of tasks
  • Assign tasks to client users.

By default, all these options are switched on.

  1. Open Settings from the left menu on your project task board. Click Client Permissions
    The Client Permissions page appears.
Permissions are divided into Client Collaboration and Client Notifications. By default, all permissions are turned on.
  2. Click the toggle next to Allow Clients to see tasks created by other clients to prevent clients viewing other client feedback.
  3. Click the toggle next to Allow Clients to view git commit content from task comments to prevent client users from seeing extra details you might have in Git commits.
  4. Click the toggle next to Allow Client to change the status of a task to prevent clients from changing the status of any task they can view.
  5. Click the toggle next to Allow Clients to be assigned to tasks to prevent tasks from being assigned to client users.
  6. Click the toggle next to Project Summary Email to stop sending the weekly project summary email to clients.
  7. Click the toggle next to Task Done Email to turn off notifications to client users when a task they created has moved to done.
