Guide to setting up website URLs for your BugHerd projects

This guide covers everything you could want to know about URLs in your project.
Why is the website URL important in BugHerd?
To make BugHerd appear on your website using the browser extensions, you need to tell BugHerd which URLs your site uses.
You can choose to have only one URL, such as "www.company.com". Or your project may cover multiple URLs, such as a staging site on "staging.company.com". In this instance you would add both those URLs to your project.
Where to find the URLs for your project
You can add or modify URLs for your project in two ways:
- From Websites & Files
- From your General Settings.
Websites and Files
You might have seen this new message about the Websites & Files screen.
Website & Files is the new home for all your websites, designs, PDFs and images making it easier to find, manage and share work with clients. It's also easier to add websites and other project work, or edit website URLs.
General Settings
Select Settings on the left hand side of your Task Board, then General Settings.
Click on one of the following sections to read more about setting up the URLs for your project.
