The different user roles in BugHerd

To get the benefit of BugHerd during your QA process you’re going to want to invite your team members to join you. Before you do though, it’s important to understand the different user roles in BugHerd, what they can do and how you can invite them to BugHerd.

Here’s a brief summary of the different user roles in BugHerd.

How to invite your Team Members

The first time you invite someone to your team, they will receive an email from BugHerd.

To join your BugHerd Team, they simply click the link in the email and follow the instructions to accept your invitation to BugHerd. From this point forward, any other BugHerd projects they’re added to will automatically appear in their BugHerd account.

To invite team members:

  1. Click “Members” in the menu on the left-hand navigation (shown above). Then click “Invite”.

  2. Enter the email address of your team member.

  3. Select “member” role from the drop-down and click “Invite”.
