If you’ve received one of the below error messages when trying to give video feedback, you’ll need to enable your screen sharing or microphone from your browser settings to be able to leave video feedback.
Below are instructions on how to enable microphone and screen sharing preferences if you’d previously skipped or denied the permissions step for:
Chrome
To enable permissions for microphone or screen sharing, click the mic or cam icon on the far right on the URL bar and change your selection for this permission.
You can also change microphone permission in Chrome’s preferences.
From the Chrome menu, select Preferences.The settings window opens.
Click Privacy and security. The Privacy and security settings appear.
Click on Site settings.
Under the Permissions section, switch your Microphone to allow or ask.
Safari
To enable microphone or screen sharing preferences with
From the Safari menu, select Preferences.The preferences window opens.
Go to the Websites tab. Click on Microphone or Screen Sharing depending on which one you want to enable. A list of websites with access will appear as below.
Next to the website name, change Deny to Ask or Allow.
Firefox
To enable permissions for microphone or screen sharing, click on the mic/cam icon at the far left on the URL bar and cancel the blocking setting. You may need to reload the page for changes to apply.
You can also change microphone permissions in Preferences.
From the Firefox menu, select Preferences.The settings window opens.
Click Privacy & security. The Browser Privacy settings appear.
Scroll down to Permissions.
Next to Microphone, click Settings. The Settings - Microphone Permissions window appears. You can remove the websites you have previously blocked.
Edge
To enable permissions for microphone or screen sharing, click the mic/cam icon on the far right on the URL bar and change your selection for this permission.
You can also change microphone permission in Edge’s preferences.
From the Edge menu, select Preferences.The settings window opens.
Click Privacy and security. The Privacy and security settings appear.
Click on Site settings.
Under the Permissions section, switch your Microphone to allow or ask.
Still No luck?
