7 create task improvements you asked for

Here's your top 7 improvements for creating tasks in BugHerd, based on the feedback you gave us.
1. "Why can't I move the BugHerd tab from the bottom right corner?"
While you've been able to move the BugHerd tab, it hasn't always been obvious. Now, you can drag the Bugherd tab up and down the page by clicking the dots to the side of the logo, making it easier to whisk it to where you want.
2. "The cursor jumps around while I'm typing in feedback"
Yeah, that was frustrating. We've fixed that.
3. "I hate having to enter the same assignee, severity and tag when I create multiple tasks"
There's now an option to keep the same assignee, severity, status and tag details from a task for the next task you create. Tick Keep these settings and then untick it to clear those settings. when you're done.
4. "When I choose someone to assign a task to, or a tag from the list, the list doesn't close"
And then you'd have to manually close the list. Not any more. Once you've chosen an assignee or a tag from the drop-down lists, they'll close automatically. (We know, it's often the really little things that are super frustrating).
5. "Tags that I've archived are appearing in the Tags list"
Everyone's using tags I specifically didn't want them to! Rest assured, archived tags are now firmly banished to the archives.
6. "Speaking of tags, I'd like to stop people creating new tags on the fly. Can I do this?"
You can now! Go to Settings and select Tags. There's a new option, Prevent users from creating new tags while creating a task. Turn it on and get more control over the tags in your project.
7. "I love shortcuts, does BugHerd have any?"
We sure do, and rather than make you remember them while creating tasks, we've put a handy link below the task that show you the keyboard shortcuts.
Thanks to everyone who who provided feedback in our May survey or directly to support@bugherd.com. We heard you, appreciate your responses and hope these updates make you day a little brighter. 😊⭐️
