Overview
Auto-title generation helps keep your Task Board tidy and easier to scan by suggesting a short title to summarize the Task's description. This is done so with the help of AI.
Title generated by AI will appear immediately after you've created your feedback in purple-colored text.

How it works
Adding an auto-generated title (it's automatic!)
Create a Task in your BugHerd Project – this can be a Task on a Website, File or in the Project's Task Board.
Once the Task has been created, a title will be automatically generated.
The auto-generated title will appear on the Task's card view in favor of the description text, to help make your Task Board easier to scan.
The Task's description text will still be viewable when you click and open the Task.
Titles will only be auto-generated for Tasks's with longer descriptions (10 words or more).
Edit or remove the title
To change the title, open the Task and click into the title field to type your update.
Where do the titles appear?
If a task has a title, it will display the title in place of the description in the following areas of the app:
The Task Board view
The Feedback tab view
The Archive tab view
The Dashboard view
Choose the default language for AI title suggestions
By default, BugHerd will generate AI titles based on the default browser language of the user who created the task. For multi-lingual or international teams, this can be problematic as the language they use at home might not be the language they use when working on the project.
To solve for this, BugHerd allows you to set the default language to be used by the AI when generating task titles. To configure this, modify your organization's or project's Ai settings. If there are any languages not in the list that you'd like support for, please let us know via in-app support chat or emailing [email protected].
Turn AI features on or off
AI features can be controlled at the Organization or Project level.
To enable/disable AI features at an Organization level,
Click your Organization's name in the top left of the header
Go to 'Settings' > 'AI Features'
To enable/disable AI features for a single Project,
Go to your Project
Click the 'BugHerd AI' tab in the left menu
