Overview

Feedback deadlines lets you pause new feedback from coming into your Project.

This helps teams wrap up review cycles, lock scope before deploys, or prevent last‑minute changes during sign‑off.

There are 2 ways you can pause new feedback:

  1. Pausing new feedback immediately

  2. Scheduling a feedback deadline

What happens when feedback is paused?

When new feedback is paused on your Project, the BugHerd sidebar will be disabled on all the websites and files in your Project.

The BugHerd sidebar will still be visible, however the the feedback buttons will no longer be clickable.

How it works

Pause new feedback immediately

  1. In your BugHerd project, go to Settings → Feedback Settings.

  2. Under Accepting feedback, toggle the switch to the New feedback paused state.

  3. Click Save.

The BugHerd sidebar in your Project should now disabled.

To re‑enable later, toggle the switch back to the Accepting feedback state and click Save.

Schedule a Feedback Deadline

You need to be on a premium or above plan to schedule a feedback deadline.

  1. In your BugHerd project, go to Settings → Feedback Settings.

  2. Under Accepting feedback, click Schedule a time and date to pause new feedback.

  3. Select a date and time, then click Schedule.

  4. Click Save.

After the scheduled time passes, the BugHerd sidebar in your Project will be disabled.

  • To remove the feedback deadline, simply click Remove and then click Save.

  • To re‑enable later, toggle the switch back to the Accepting feedback state and click Save.
