The Sidebar tab in your project settings lets you modify the Sidebar settings for BugHerd, including the height of the BugHerd tab, whether you enable Public Feedback, or if you want the sidebar to to be hidden or appear by default.
To Open your Feedback settings
Click Settings on the left-hand side of your Task Board. Your settings appear.
Click Feedback Settings, and select the options you want to enable.
Accepting new feedback
Use this setting to pause/unpause Clients from being able to create new feedback on a project. This is great for keeping your review process on schedule. You can also schedule a time/date when feedback will be paused.
Client Feedback
By default Client feedback first appears in the "Feedback" screen of your project so that you can triage it before transferring it to the Task Board to be actioned. In some cases this creates additional work for Project Managers. In this case, you can enable the option to send Client feedback directly to the project board, skipping the "Feedback" screen all together.
Public Feedback
BugHerd's public feedback enables you to collect feedback from visitors to a live website, without needing to invite the visitors in as members or clients. Find out more about how to set up Public Feedback.
Shortcut
The default shortcut to show the BugHerd sidebar is:
ctrl + alt + B (Windows), or cmd + control + B (Mac).
You can customise your own shortcut. Just be aware that you're changing it for all members & clients for that project.
Vertical Position
The Vertical position percentage lets you change how far from the top of the page the BugHerd tab will sit on your website.
