Send Client Feedback directly to your Task board

When you enable the "Send new Client Feedback directly to the Task board" setting, BugHerd automatically updates how new client feedback is handled, simplifying your workflow and reducing clutter on the task board.

When the setting "Send new Client Feedback to your Task board" is enabled:

  • New tasks created by Clients will automatically appear in the First column of your task board instead of the Feedback tab.

  • The Feedback tab will be hidden from the task board for both Clients and Members.

This keeps the board clean and reduces confusion, especially if you prefer to triage all new tasks from a single column.

The Feedback tab will remain visible if:

  • Public Feedback is enabled

    • Tasks submitted via the public feedback form will continue to appear in the Feedback tab.

  • There are existing tasks in the Feedback column

    • The Feedback tab stays visible until all tasks are moved out of that column.

How to Enable "Send New Client Feedback directly to your Task Board"

  1. Navigate to your Project Settings.

  2. Click on the Feedback Settings tab.

  3. Toggle on the “Send new Client Feedback directly to” option (Please note this will default to the first column in your task board)

  4. Click "Save"
