How to verify you've installed the BugHerd Javascript correctly if your site is behind Basic Authentication

If your site is protected by Basic Authentication, our servers won't be able to reach the URL without your username & password.

In this case, you will need to add your Basic Auth Username & Password to your project in BugHerd. Note: This feature is only available on the Premium & Deluxe BugHerd Plans.

To do this...

  1. Open your Project Settings by clicking on the βš™οΈ icon.

  2. Click on "Edit Project"

  3. And then enable Basic Authentication as shown below.
