BugHerd can be used to report bugs and give feedback via desktop or mobile devices.
The video below runs you through how to use mobile devices to leave feedback on websites.
How to leave feedback via mobile
- Install the javascript snippet into the <head> section of your website. This removes the need to install a browser extension to leave feedback.
⚠️ Important information about the javascript snippet: If you use the the javascript snippet to gather feedback on a production website, the BugHerd tab will be visible on the website to anyone visiting your website, not just BugHerd users. We recommend that you don’t install the BugHerd Javascript code on your production websites. If you need to gather feedback on production websites, you can get your clients to install the BugHerd chrome extension as an alternative to the javascript code snippet.
-
Make sure you’re logged in to your BugHerd account, then go to the page you’re reviewing.
-
The BugHerd sidebar appears. Select if you’re leaving feedback on a particular element, or the page as a whole.
-
Enter the details and click Create Task.
And that’s how easy it is to leave feedback on a website from your phone or mobile device.
