Control what project information and tasks your guests can see.

You can choose to provide the following for your clients and stakeholders:

  • Project Summary emails
  • Notifications when a task is moved to done
  • Let guests see feedback left by other guests (premium feature)
  • Let guests see git commit content from task comments
  • Let guests change the status of tasks
  • Assign tasks to guest users.

By default, all these options are switched on.

  1. Open Settings from the left menu on your project task board. Click Guest Permissions
    The Guest Permissions page appears.
Permissions are divided into Guest Collaboration and Guest Notifications. By default, all permissions are turned on.
  2. Click the toggle next to Allow Guests to see tasks created by other guests to prevent guests viewing other guest feedback.
  3. Click the toggle next to Allow Guests to view git commit content from task comments to prevent guest users from seeing extra details you might have in Git commits.
  4. Click the toggle next to Allow Guest to change the status of a task to prevent guests from changing the status of any task they can view.
  5. Click the toggle next to Allow Guests to be assigned to tasks to prevent tasks from being assigned to guest users.
  6. Click the toggle next to Project Summary Email to stop sending the weekly project summary email to guests.
  7. Click the toggle next to Task Done Email to turn off notifications to guest users when a task they created has moved to done.
